Code of Ethics Principles
The Legislative Decree of 8th June 2001 n.231 concerns the administrative liability of legal entities, companies and associations including those without legal status, outlining the general principles and award criteria.
The Decree has introduced into Italian law a system of administrative liability to be assumed by companies if they commit offense for their own interest or advantage, as listed in the Decree. The company’s responsibility also refers that of the individual who effectively committed the crime.
The abovementioned decree holds the body responsible for offenses committed in its own interest or advantage:
The aim of the Organisational Model is to build a structured and organic system of procedures and control activities that targets to prevent offenses set forth in D. Lgs, 231/2001, by identifying potentially criminal activities and their consequent subjection to legal action.
