PLASTIC AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY

Lipofilling-lipostructuring

Lipostructuring, developed from lipofilling techniques, provides for a free transplant of fat tissues from a donor to a receiver.

The removal of fat is done through tiny syringes that suck the tissue using low pressure. The tissue is then treated to separate the vital cells from the damaged ones along with their by-products.

Since this is a free transplant, it is vital that all the filtrating cells are in direct contact with well vascularised tissues.

This is why lipostructuring is performed with tiny syringes and filtrated using small amounts of fat into many small canals.

The underlying canal network of the skin creates a framework arranged on various layers. In short, the procedure uses body fat as a permanent filler.

Silhouette thread face lift

The Silhouette lift surgical procedure lifts the soft tissues of the face and neck without using traditional lifting techniques.

Silhouette suture is a recent invention from the USA and has already obtained FDA and EC certifications.

These sutures are made with a non-absorbable thread in 3-0 polypropylene (biologically stable inert material), along which there are ten small knots interspersed with ten tiny re-absorbable cones (latex/glycolides absorbable in 8/10 months).

Compared to older barbed sutures, Silhouette sutures anchor themselves in deep tissue and are able to stimulate the growth of fibrous tissue around and inside the soft absorbable cones.

Over time the cones are completely absorbed and the small knots allow for a long-lasting tissue suspension.
