Ortopantomography
NHS accreditedAlso called dental panoramic imaging, this consists of an x-ray image in which all the teeth, jaw bones and the joints of the temporal mandible bones can be seen.Inter-dental cavities and decay present under old fillings are detected, as well as dental elements contained in the bone, and possible dental or bone fractures. It is performed on children to evaluate whether dental growth is progressing normally and if all the permanent teeth are present (imaging diagnostics). |
